Responsibilities

As a Senior Scheduler at Peritia, you are expected to be knowledgeable in planning and scheduling concepts, highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work within required time frames. In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate closely with clients, lead pull planning sessions with trades, and estimate durations for activities based on project requirements.
  • Develop baseline schedules with resources, cost loading, activity coding, and other essential components.
  • Gather and assemble data to measure project progress and update schedules.
  • Collect, update, and report scheduling data and produce accurate schedule reports.
  • Lead analysis of schedules, identify and investigate variances.
  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracting methods to ensure accurate project planning.
  • Apply CPM (Critical Path Method) scheduling concepts and principles, including engineering, procurement, and construction logic.
  • Manage scope, change management, and earned value methodology.
  • Support the preparation of monthly reports and conduct planning and scheduling meetings to address issues and gain project insights.
  • Negotiate contract terms and coordinate with various clients to meet multiple project deliverables.

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5 to 10+ years of experience in construction scheduling or related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Primavera P6, Oracle Primavera Cloud, and MS Project.
  • Strong understanding of planning and scheduling principles, with a focus on financial performance and project variance analysis.
  • Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and contract administration.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, able to handle multiple projects concurrently.
  • Skilled in communication, collaboration, and problem-solving under tight deadlines.
  • Remote position, Texas location preferred.

Preferred Experience & Certifications

  • Experience with estimating tools, cost loading, and resource planning.
  • Familiarity with scope control, change management, and earned value methodology.
  • Professional certifications such as PSP, PMI-SP, or similar are a plus.
