Vice President
Provides more than 15 years of experience in mediation, arbitration, and litigation support across the A/E/C industry including expert witness testimony on construction-related claims involving cost, schedule, and productivity issues. Jesus has more than 15 years of experience in both the public and private sectors of the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry. He has expertise in proactive and forensic project controls including project assessment and management, cost estimating, project planning, and scheduling. Jesus has worked with law firms, owners, contractors, subcontractors, and insurance carriers, and has provided analysis and testimony in arbitration and court proceedings relating to construction disputes involving the quantification of damages, cost of repair, changed work, delay, disruption, and productivity issues.

Akshaya Iyer, PSP

Vice President
37+ years of project management experience in diverse industries gaining expertise in cost/schedule development, analysis, and managing internal/external interfaces. Suzie Gragg has over 37 years of project management, project controls, estimating, and conceptual engineering experience in upstream (onshore and offshore) drilling and facilities, petrochemical, LNG facilities, natural gas transmission pipelines, power generation, and telecommunication industries. She has been instrumental in construction projects needing delay assessment, gap analysis, and development of project controls and corresponding schedules. With her robust experience in monitoring and managing complex domestic and international projects, Suzie has exemplified her skills and expertise in cost engineering, claims analysis, contract administration, and procurement.

Suzie Gragg

Vice President
Contributes expertise in project management with technical proficiency in risk management, contract administration, and construction management. Karen Deshon brings over 15 years of experience in engineering, procurement, construction management, project controls, and project management. She is dedicated to ensuring excellence in project execution as she has led and managed small- and large- scale projects totaling over $1 billion. The bulk of her experience within the commercial, retail, roadway, government, and industrial sectors lends to skills gained in strategic planning, commissioning of projects, claims avoidance, risk identification, and forecasting. Karen’s leadership is evident in the successful planning, management, and evaluation of a diverse spectrum of projects. Her management capabilities extend beyond project timelines and documents as she has coordinated subcontractors, in-house teams, clients, regulatory officials, and stakeholders.

Karen Deshon, PE, PMP

Senior Consultant
Seasoned construction executive with a proven track record of driving business success through constructability analysis and continuous improvement. With over twenty-nine years of comprehensive experience, Gabe has evolved from a welder, superintendent, quality manager, and project manager, to executive management and outside consultant. He has a deep understanding of all aspects of project management with a focus on constructability, quality control and assurance, and continuous improvement to drive business success.

Gabe Kuhnert

Senior Consultant
Keen skills in supporting, coordinating, and managing preconstruction efforts inclusive of cost estimating, contract management, and budget and preliminary schedule evaluation. Cara draws on her experience from diverse domestic projects at a legacy firm, skillfully showcasing specialties in construction management, schedule management, and cost estimating within her current project portfolio. Her technical expertise includes contract management, procurement, and team member training. Cara’s vast project experience with healthcare facilities, federal needs, offices, hotels, and residential mixed-use buildings has allowed her to expand her skills in developing and managing scopes of work, punch lists, developing schedules, and analyzing documents and proposals.

Cara Conte

Consultant
Provides more than 20 years of experience in project management within the A/E/C industry on projects which leverage his skills from identifying and acquiring land to the completion of ground-up development and construction. Brian provides expertise as a construction leader with a proven track record of the successful management and completion of numerous domestic projects in the commercial, residential, technology, healthcare, and public sector ranging from $25 million to over $1 billion. From large complex real estate programs to individual projects, he confidently exercises his ability to direct and manage all project details.

Brian Radey

Consultant
Construction Management
25+ years of experience in system implementation as an Information Technology professional which includes expertise in software selection and training, business process documentation, Procore, Oracle Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft 365. Joe has over 25 years of experience in the training and implementation of enterprise systems – 20 of those years include experience specifically operating within the construction industry. His knowledge encompasses system selection, process discovery and documentation, writing custom manuals, configuration, and training. Joe also leverages his experience in needs analysis and course design for targeted, role-based training. Throughout his career, Joe has managed the implementation of new systems on over 600 projects in all sectors of the construction industry, many of which required the integration of one or more systems. Recent accomplishments include Joe’s design and delivery of the first Procore courses at the Dallas College Construction Education Foundation.
