Kjell-Erick Carlson is a Managing Director at Peritia Partners and leads the firm’s Atlanta office. With more than 30 years of experience in the architecture, construction, and dispute resolution industries, he provides strategic guidance on complex construction projects and claims throughout the United States. Mr. Carlson specializes in construction disputes, forensic schedule analysis, delay and productivity assessments, claims evaluation, litigation support, and alternative dispute resolution. His background in architecture and construction management allows him to evaluate project challenges from both design and construction perspectives, helping clients navigate complex project and dispute-related matters with clarity and confidence.
Mr. Carlson has extensive experience working with owners, contractors, design professionals, consultants, and government agencies across a wide range of sectors, including multifamily, mixed-use, hospitality, senior living, commercial, institutional, municipal, aerospace, and residential developments. He currently serves as Managing Director and Business Unit Leader of Peritia Partners’ Atlanta office. Prior to joining Peritia Partners, he held senior leadership positions with SOCOTEC, including Managing Director, Director, and Senior Project Manager. Earlier in his career, he founded and operated Kjellerick & Associates, LLC, serving as an Owner’s Representative and Construction Manager on numerous projects. His professional background also includes project management, contract administration, and architectural roles with leading architecture and construction firms.
